The Deep Reset Retreat

March 7-13, Dharamshala, India

Join Elouise Erlings & Mel Cunningham for a 7-day immersion of yoga, ayurveda & nervous system regulation in the serene mountains of Dharamshala

What to Expect

Take a deep breath and rest your nervous system at the foot of the snow-capped Dhauladhar mountains, India.

This March 7–13th, 2027, join us for a journey to step away from the noise, slow down, and deeply reset your entire being. Nestled at The Mirage, a heritage sanctuary in the village of Andretta, India, this retreat is an invitation to unplug from the modern world and plug back into yourself. Over seven nurturing days, our time together will blend the profound practices of yoga, ancient Ayurveda, somatic movement, and nervous system regulation. It is a dedicated space to rest, digest, and heal.

This retreat is a heart-led collaboration co-facilitated by besties and seasoned guides: Elouise (Lakshya), a yoga teacher with over 16 years of experience and 27 retreats worldwide, and Mel, an Ayurvedic practitioner & teacher, founder of The School of Integrative Ayurveda, and an expert in polyvagal theory (nervous system reset) , somatics, and trauma-informed healing.

Together, we weave ancient wisdom with modern nervous system science to nourish you on every level.

Our vision is to create a soft, deeply safe harbor where you can strip away the layers of daily stress, melt into your body, and receive the ultimate gift of true restoration - leaving you feeling profoundly reset, stretched and beautifully reconnected to yourself.

Dynamic morning classes with Hatha Yoga to energize the body, and relaxing, nourshing, evening yin sessions that encourage deep release and relaxation. Classes may include pranayama, meditation and mantra chanting.

The Venue: The Mirage

The Mirage is a boutique heritage homestay tucked away in the legendary Andretta artists' village. Nestled under the the snow-capped Dhauladhar range in Himachal Pradesh, this isn't just a venue - it is a time capsule, a living museum, and a deeply peaceful sanctuary designed for restoration.

Originally built in 1948, The Mirage is crafted entirely from traditional local mud bricks, bamboo, and rich deodar wood. Lovingly restored into an inviting eco-retreat, the estate blends heritage rustic charm with quiet luxury.

Between our sessions, you can wander through manicured secret gardens, sit by the outdoor pool reflecting the mountains, or lose yourself in a cozy lounge filled with hand-picked Indian antiques and vintage black-and-white photography.

There are 3 cottages in the property, with a total of 10 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

The Food: Nourishment for the mind-body-spirit

At The Mirage, meals are treated as an extension of our practice - grounding, mindful, and incredibly flavorful. The heart of the property is the cozy dining room and adjoining open verandah, where we will gather family-buffet style to share stories, laugh, and connect. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, with a variety of local, seasonal, and international vegetarian dishes.

Dietary Note: The culinary team is incredibly accommodating. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, just let us know when booking so we can tailor the menu for you.

Getting There

While Andretta feels blissfully remote, reaching our mountain sanctuary is straightforward. To make your journey as smooth and connected as possible, we have a recommended travel plan so we can all arrive together.

Our Recommended Route
(Travel Together)

Step 1: Arrive in New Delhi on March 6th. We highly recommend flying into New Delhi (DEL) the day before the retreat begins and staying the night at an airport hotel. We will be staying there and inviting the group to join us - this ensures you are rested and ready for our mountain journey.

Step 2: The Morning Flight on March 7th. On the morning of March 7th, we will all take the domestic flight from New Delhi to Dharamshala (Gaggal Airport).

Step 3: Group Transfer to The Mirage. Once we land at Gaggal Airport, we will have arranged shared taxis or a private minivan to pick us up for the stunning, scenic 1.5-hour drive straight to the venue.

Our group size is expected to be 12-14 guests, to keep the experience intimate and sacred. Hence, spaces are limited - book early to secure your spot.

This retreat is open to all levels of practitioners, and all ages. Whether you’re looking to deepen your practice, reconnect with yourself, or simply take a meaningful pause, you are warmly welcome.

We are so excited to be putting together this offering - it is truly going to be so special, and we would love to have you with us! To save your spot, click the link below and fill out the form and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

With love, Elouise & Mel
